Please share any insights you have had after reflecting on your experience Crossing the Ravine.
Crossing the Ravine is a powerful exercise in that it brings to awareness what you uniquely think and do when you come to a creative edge. If you really stop and look at your experience in the ravine, you will notice parallels with how you perceive and act in moments of life.
Take some time this week to write in your journal about your experience, to let things percolate up to your awareness so you can become more clear about your own process, what VOJ beliefs and statements get in the way, and your usual way of dealing with them. This is an opportunity to see them come up in your everyday life and experiment with doing things differently.
If you didn't get to the crystal palace, take time to sit down and complete the journey. It is well worth the time.
Hope you're having an attentive week!
Julie

It was indeed a delightful visual experience, which reflected the observations/imagination/creativity and thinking styles of each one of us. I think it also naturally exposes certain characteristics of each of the class members such as leadership, creative thinking, out-of-the-box thinkers, etc in the way they perceived the challenge and in what they thought was the end goal.
Sometimes it’s the tough and unexpected circumstances that bring out the best in you. Such experiences bring you more close to yourself. I did feel the strong urge to reach the castle within me, even though my eyes were closed and it was just imaginary. I was forced to think of creating solutions from the limited resources I had inside the ravine. I was constantly exploring “How can I use this to my advantage?” while coming across rocks, stones, small weeds and all the adversities during my journey.
To sum up:-
I fear.
I fear and sometimes it’s very useful.
I fear I will disappoint those who believe in me.
I fear, therefore I am.
